Terms of use

You need to be 18 or older to trade here. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your account is yours. Give real information, and one account per person.

Kamaaina lists offers and carries messages. We are not a party to any trade, we hold no money, we do not inspect food, and we make no promises about what a seller grows or how a buyer behaves. Sellers are responsible for what they sell, including meeting the rules for homemade food described in the guidelines. Buyers use their own judgment, like at any roadside stand.

No listings that break the guidelines or the law. No harassment in messages. No scraping, spamming, reselling access, or using the service to build something that abuses neighbors’ data.

We can remove listings, close conversations, and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without notice. We would rather talk first, and usually will.

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Kamaaina’s total liability for anything arising out of the service or a trade made through it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. If we change the terms, the date above changes and continued use means you accept them.
